+ About Me
I’m Carrie– you probably caught that already. I live in New York, NY and am searching for an account management position at an advertising agency.
When I was a senior at Northeastern University, a personal branding expert came in to talk to Northeastern’s Women in Business organization. She asked us to consider our One Simple Thing. Hers was bringing people together. I reflected on my career and noticed that, through all the different fields I’d been through (freelance journalist, public relations, artist management and beyond), the one thread that runs through all of it is the Crusade. In everything I do, I am a crusader; relentless, excited, ambitious. As a writer, I refused to critique an artist because all I wanted to do was get other people to feel what I feel about the music I loved. As a manager, I was the band’s big sister. As I ran the international street team for the Dillinger Escape Plan, I learned to manage the crusader within others.
I am a fan of fans, a crusader and caretaker by nature.
